The Seward Writing Circle began in 2012 in the basement of the town library. Participants of the workshop ebbed and flowed, but circles always ended with a ritual called "Thumbs."

The Seward Ensemble formed during summer in Alaska. This photo shows an outdoor workshop that blended nature and creativity to facilitate the writing process.
